Zagreb Beer Map

Most tourists flock to Croatia for its sunny, Mediterranean beaches on the Dalmatian coast. Often, the capital city, Zagreb, is no more than stopover at the airport. However, if you are beer geek, you will find the coastline lacking in any quality craft beer. Zagreb is the best place to find Croatia’s best craft beer.

First, Opatovina Street is often referred to as Zagreb’s “Craft Beer Row.” If you have a weekend to visit, a walk on this street is good for a night of drinking and eating.

Beyond that, there are other brewpubs, craft bars and the breweries outside the city center. Croatia’s top craft brewery, The Garden Brewery, is a destination in its own. Yet it’s also worth the time to search for some of Zagreb’s hidden beer hideaways, like Cafe Cajt and X Bar, where the real local beer geeks hang out.
